Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to enjoy WPF. We're working to make our venues, programme and free Saturday activities as accessible as possible. Get in touch if you have questions or specific access needs.
Access at the festival
Getting to Vogelmorn Bowling Club
93 Mornington Road, Brooklyn. There is usually lots of free, unmetered street parking. The closest bus stop is Mills Road opposite Vennell Street — from the CBD, take the number 7 towards Kingston. There is ample bike parking at the venue.
Getting to Ridgway School Hall
120 Mornington Road, Brooklyn, a short walk further up the road from the Bowling Club. There is usually free street parking around the school on Mornington Road. The closest bus stop is The Ridgway at Ingestre Street — from the CBD, take the number 7 towards Kingston.
Steps and surfaces
At Vogelmorn you will likely encounter steps and uneven pavement. Crossing from the Precinct building, where the workshops are held, to the Hall means several sets of steps and a lawn. Ridgway School Hall is wheelchair accessible.
Toilets
The only wheelchair accessible toilets are at Ridgway School Hall. The toilets at Vogelmorn are not wheelchair accessible: those in the Precinct are up a short flight of stairs (fewer than five), and those in the Hall are on the same level as the shows, so there are no stairs once you are inside.
